The RC F is engineered to provoke a potent physical response in drivers who

Hand built and tuned by stethoscope in our Tahara plant, this incredible 5.0-litre V8 engine develops 463 DIN hp and more than 520 Nm of torque. The cylinder head and all moving parts are designed to provide increased maximum power at higher engine revs.
Sports Vehicle Dynamics Integrated Management (VDIM) ensures
that the enormous power of the RC F can be enjoyed smoothly and safely, even
when cornering at high speed.
Benefiting from carbon fibre moulding technology developed for our Lexus LFA supercar and IS F CCS-R racecar, the RC F model is 9.5 kilos lighter than the standard car.
The V8 engine delivers power via an 8 Speed Sport Direct
Shift (SDS) sequential transmission with manual override. The transmission’s
shift control has been enhanced to respond precisely to even the slightest dip
or lift of the accelerator pedal.
The RC F’s alloy wheels are forged (rather than cast) in a
process that emulates the blows of a blacksmith’s hammer to combine strength,
through an improved metallic structure, with lightness.
High-back seats feature Lexus’ integrated foaming technique, which achieves a cosseting, highly supportive fit. Seat cushion shape and firmness have been optimized to reduce pressure on the sensitive ischial region. Available on selected grades.
