Hills of Woodford Toyota News

Did you know that Hills of Woodford Toyota are continuing to support the community by granting local charity ELHAP funds to develop their centre in Essex? Hills of Woodford Toyota has been supporting local charity ELHAP (“Every Life Has APurpose”) for a number of years now.

We applied for the Toyota UK Fund for a Better Tomorrow and Toyota kindly allowed us to donate to this amazing charity ELHAP is a magical and unique charity, providing adventure play opportunities to disabled and disadvantaged children, young people and adults. Since 1976, ELHAP have supported tens of thousands of disabled children. Each year, ELHAP attracts over 6,000 visits from across North East London and Essex. Biking is one of the most popular activities for their users.

The children and young people with learning disabilities who attend ELHAP love to cycle along the paths that criss-cross their 5-acre adventure playground and wild woodland. Whilst at ELHAP, the Hills of Woodford Toyota marketing team spoke to Rachel Joseph, Head of Development ELHAP who had some great words to share: "We are so grateful to Toyota UK Fund For ABetter Tomorrow and Hills of Woodford Toyota for giving us a grant to buy new bikes and biking equipment. ELHAP relies on donations like yours to be able to continue our work. Over the last year, we have seen a massive increase in the number of users attending ELHAP – from 600 to 900 – so your support is even more important to us than ever."

Shona Hayes, Marketing Manager at Hills of Woodford Toyota has explained how important it is to continue to support local charities such as ELHAP and are proud to be a part of the development of their centre in Woodford Bridge, Essex.
